Arsenal have won every single game of their last 12 league games at the Emirates and have said that Manchester United will be truly tested as they face them on Saturday.
The Red Devils, on the other hand, have struggled away from home against the other top six teams since the arrival of Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Old Trafford.
Paul Scholes even warned United on their trip to London since the Red Devils have only managed just one goal in their seven away trips to Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Spurs since Mourinho became the manager.
Scholes advised them to step up their game if they want to win against the Gunners this weekend.
“Saturday against Arsenal is a big game and they have to turn up,” Scholes said on BT Sport following United’s 4-2 win over Watford on Tuesday night.
“It’s very difficult to criticise when you’re winning games, especially when you’re scoring four goals. But they’ve really got to turn up in these big games and win some of them.”
Both teams are eager to win as both want to catch up with Manchester City.
If Arsenal win tomorrow, this would put them at a point of United, who is now second place behind City.
If United win, they will be able to lessen the eight-point deficit they need to catch up against City.
