After almost signing Monaco’s Thomas Lemar last summer for £90 million, Arsenal will end their interest over the player and will put their interest in Raheem Sterling and Nabil Fekir.
Arsenal was close to signing Lemar for £90 million on deadline day but the cost were very high which made them back out.
The Gunners have now looked for alternatives with Lyon’s Nabil Fekir and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
Arsene Wenger may revisit a potential swap deal with Alexis Sanchez and Sterling when the transfer window re-opens.
But it remains to be seen whether Pep Guardiola would consider allowing Sterling to leave the Etihad.
This will not prevent Arsenal from making a second attempt for Sterling though.
