Arsenal want to move Nabil Fekir and are preparing £60 million for him as they look for a replacement for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
The Gunners are in a serious conversation for the France international and are edging closer to signing him.
Fekir has been in great form for Lyon this campaign as he scores 11 goals in 11 games.
The striker has even been compared to Lionel Messi by Lyon owner and chairman Jean-Michel Aulas for his ability to play either in the hole or as a striker.
Ozil and Sanchez are unlikely to renew their contract as they are set to end by the end of the campaign. Fekir could provide Arsenal with a diverse option once the club loses their key players.
But it looks like The Gunners may have to compete with Barcelona for Fekir as sporting director Robert Fernandez was watching Fekir when Lyon beat Everton 3-0.
However, reports from the Spanish paper Marca also said that the Nou Camp will only pursue the striker if they cannot get a deal for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
