Arsenal star Olivier Giroud had an injury scare on Monday while preparing for the World Cup France training.
Giroud went down in training while holding his lower leg in pain. The Arsenal striker was pictured rolling on the floor in agony.
Arsene Wenger and Didier Deschamps hope that the striker just suffered a temporary injury scare and that the incident will not be a long-term problem.
Giroud has struggled to make a lot of impacts this season following the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette in the summer. He also came on as a 78th-minute substitute during Arsenal’s defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday with a score of 3-1.
The French team were training on Monday to prepare them for a friendly clash with Wales on Friday night.
