Arsenal may be ready to just cash out on Mesut Ozil than have him stay longer. Fortunately, Inter Milan have shown interested in the 28-year-old.
While Ozil has no interest in leaving Arsenal as he announced that he was happy at the club, Arsenal were also encouraged that he should stay.
However, Ozil demanded around £350,000-a-week with Arsenal offering in excess of £275,000-a-week which is a new territory for them.
Ozil is also not playing for Arsenal because of a slight knee problem which made the team rely more on Alexis Sanchez. This could also be one of the deciding factors for Arsene Wenger on why he would consider on selling the striker.
And while Sanchez may also leave Arsenal in January, there is still a question on the club if Ozil should stay.
Arsenal legend Martin Keown even said that Wenger no longer trusts Ozil and that the German international may finally exit soon.
Inter chairman Erick Thohir admittedly said last week that they are interested in signing the World Cup winner. Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, on the other hand, has admitted that they fear Arsenal will not sell in January but they could provide an encouragement for the player if he needs it.
With two big stars from Arsenal possibly leaving the squad, Wenger may also face difficulties. Sanchez has been trying to move out of Arsenal since last summer while Ozil is out of favour from Wenger.
Aside from Inter Milan, Manchester United have also shown interest in signing Ozil but we still have to wait if United will really do a move for the Arsenal star.
Mesut Ozil is close to a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United, his current deal at Arsenal runs out next Summer.

Genuinely. If Mesut Ozil is allowed to join Man Utd I'm swapping clubs. Ozil is bigger than Arsenal. He goes I go.
