Manchester United could make a move for Schalke star Leon Goretzka and may have a bigger chance of landing the player since Barcelona pulled out of the race for the Germany international.
According to club scout Ariedo Braida, Goretzka will be out of contract this summer and a couple of big clubs are interested in signing him.
The 22-year-old is one of the top Bundesliga’s prospects with Bayern Munich, and Manchester United are keen getting the player.
Goretzka was part of the young Germany side who won the Confederations Cup last year and could have great potential in joining Barcelona.
However, Braida thinks Goretzka is not ready to play at the Nou Camp.
“He is certainly a great player, but for Barcelona, it is too soon, said Braida.
“I travel around the world in search of great talent, but our demands are extremely high.”
