Chelsea have abandoned their long pursuit for Juventus Alex Sandro as they have found an alternative, Emerson Palmieri.
Juventus are asking £50 million for Alex Sandro and Chelsea did not want to pay for more. Emerson Palmieri, on the other hand, costs €20 million to sign although he signed for Roma for just €2 million a year ago.
Palmieri, who was born in Brazil in 1994 played football in Brazil and represented his country under-17 team. At the age of 20 he was loaned to Palermo in Italy and mainly used as a backup player for the squad.
The young player was loaned to Roma in August in 2015 and was bought for €2 million in December 2016.
While he is not that popular yet and he is more to prove but if research on the Internet, he seems impressive for the price Roma are asking the club.
Watch Palmieri’s performance below see if he really is good for Chelsea.
