Chelsea and rival Arsenal are both interested in signing Watford striker Richarlison according to reports.
Chelsea have long been a fan of Watford’s attacking talisman as they were warned off together with Tottenham Hotspur in making an approach for the Brazilian star back in November.
The interest in Richarlison is understandable after he has taken to life in the Premier League.
The Brazilian forward has proved to be a bargain after he joined Watford for £11.5 million from Fluminense in the summer. After that, he was able to net five goals and gave four assists.
While his output has slowed recently but there is no doubt that the 20-year-old is growing star that can still be developed.
But where could the young star fit? Should he join Chelsea although Antonio Conte already his wide forwards like Willian and Pedro to rely on? And they already signed Ross Barkley from Everton too.
Arsenal would appear to be a better choice since they have the bigger need for a wide player, especially since Alexis Sanchez is set to move to Manchester United. Opportunities for more game time may be at Arsenal.
While Richarlison has not confirmed on where he should sign next, but looking at it in a much simpler analysis, it is clear on where the young player should go.
