Chelsea are preparing to have a big spending spree in January as they target striker Ross Barkley.
Alex Sandro from Juventus is also a target of the club but may not be available in January which will lead them in pursuing the 23-year-old Everton striker.
Everton are more likely to sell Barkley in the next window as his contract will expire in the summer and they would still want to cash out on him.
Chelsea tried to sign Barkley in the summer but failed. This time, they may still bid for the striker but they may find major competition against Tottenham as they also want the England midfielder.
The champions want a striker that can be a top-class-back-up and can compete with Alvaro Morata which Barkley can offer the club.
