Huddersfield Town head coach David Wagner spoke to #HTTV after their 5-0 Premier League defeat against Arsenal and explained his players’ performance.
He admitted that his team has to accept the result against Arsenal and to focus on their next match on Saturday which is with Everton.
“I think we were a little bit shocked after we conceded the first one after, I’m not sure, maybe the first two or three minutes.
“But how then the team reacted, this was very good. I think we kept them away as good as we could, but this is a top-quality team who can create chances for a game.
“I think for 60-65 minutes we have shown that we can give them fewer chances, even if they had some chances.
“In our best period the 10-15 minutes before we conceded the second goal we had our opportunities.
“It was 1-0; we had two great opportunities and if you like to get something out of this game then you have to put your opponents under pressure and you have to score so they get nervous.
“After the two opportunities which they conceded, they showed their quality, they didn’t get nervous and they scored in our best period three goals in four minutes.
“They showed everything about why they are top, top side, we lost 5-0, so congratulations to Arsenal.
“A lot of things were good but not enough things, so we have to accept the result and move forward.”
