Atletico Madrid will get Diego Costa from Chelsea for £57.5 million but the striker will play for them first on an initial loan deal so that they won’t breach the Financial Fair Play regulations.
Diego Costa was supposed to go back to Madrid but was not able to do so during last summer transfer window.
Chelsea wanted Costa to move after the striker and Antonio Conte’s relationship fell through. Now, the club is just happy that they will be able to sell Costa and get more money from him.
A deal will guarantee Chelsea receiving £5 million fees for the loan before they get the first instalment of in July when the move becomes permanent.
