Tottenham star Harry Kane has only one goal in mind this season and that is to win titles. However, Kane’s team-mate Dele Alli has become problematic recently.
Alli was crucial in the Spurs stunning 3-1 victory over Champions League titleholders Real Madrid on Wednesday, but his temperament has also shown that the youngster needs some evaluation.
The 21-year-old was forced to sit out Tottenham’s opening three Champions League fixtures because of a European suspension he received during the World Cup qualifier against Slovakia.
He was also involved in a heated scuffle with Ashley Young when they played against Manchester United in the Premier League last week.
“Hopefully he stays calm and we’ll have him for the rest of the campaign,” Kane said.
“It hurt him he was banned for three games, as it would anyone. Especially missing big games – like Dortmund and Madrid.
“So you can see he was raring to go and what a performance from him. He was fantastic. He does it in the Premier League as well. One-v-one he can take players on. He’s a good finisher, he gets into the box.”
Tottenham are third and are eight points behind Manchester City in the Premier League. They will play against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
