Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino says Harry Kane will be fit to play for England after their game with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Fellow international star Dele Alli missed their win against Palace while Harry Winks was subbed off at halftime because of a twisted ankle.
Harry Kane, on the other hand, was withdrawn on 75 minutes as a precaution.
“Kane? England? We are focused on our problems with injuries,” Pochettino said.
“I understand what the national team need. The most important thing is that England or different countries understand the position of our players. They want and they will help them to be fit for the next period here. The Christmas period is so tough.
“He came off because after 75 minutes we wanted to protect him. It was emotional against Real Madrid and it’s better to avoid a risk. He’s OK. I’m sure he will make the national team.”
