Aston Villa and Hull City will have to compete in January if both are interested in signing Leicester City star Ahmed Musa.
The 25-year-old who was signed by Claudio Ranieri last year played for the Foxes, however, his career has never taken off with them and may opt to choose for a new club to play in January.
He has made only one appearance for the first team this season when they won against Sheffield United 4-1 in the Carabao Cup in which he contributed with a goal.
The Nigerian international still has a connection with Moscow and have been heavily linked with a move to the KCO Stadium.
Musa’s former manager Leonid Slutsky, who is still in charge at CSKA Moscow tried to re-sign the striker to the Tigers late in the summer window but the player insisted to stay at the King Power Stadium.
As Villa prepare to bolster their chances to get back to the Premier League, they may need a player like Musa to help them with that.
