Liverpool have sent their midfielder Adam Lallana to Qatar in the hope that this will accelerate his recovery from injury.
Lallana picked up a thigh injury during a pre-season friendly with Atletico Madrid in August and has not made an appearance for Liverpool this season.
The 29-year-old was only expected to miss around 3 months of action and there were even reports that he was in for a fast recovery. He was even pictured taking part of a light physical training at the club’s Melwood training facility.
And in a bid to faster his recovery, Liverpool have sent Lallana to Qatar’s widely-renowned Aspire training facility.
The midfielder has been accompanied by a medical assistant from the club as he receives treatment and training at the Aspetar sports clinic.
