Liverpool have been struggling to keep the opposition attackers at bay and Jurgen Klopp is now receiving a lot of criticism because of his low results.
Adding more fuel to the fire are reports that the German boss had the chance to sign Davinson Sanchez from Ajax and Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli during the summer transfer window but did not do so.
Sanchez moved to Tottenham for £42 million while Koulibaly was offered to the Merseyside outfit for £57 million.
Jurgen Klopp was focused on moving Virgil van Dijk during the summer transfer window which made them lost the opportunity to sign the two players.
The Saints refused to sell Van Dijk to Liverpool which ended for the club not acquiring defensive reinforcements after the transfer window closed.
Van Dijk apologised to Liverpool fans about what happened during the summer and still insisted that he is open to a move in January.
Liverpool have made a very poor start in their seven Premier League clashes and are still in need to keep their Champions League sheet clean.
