The Gunners refused to sell Sanchez during the summer transfer window because they were not able to find a replacement for him. However, reports have indicated that City are now considering on swapping Sterling instead this January.
It is not just City who are interested in the Chilean international since Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea are all ready to take the Arsenal star. Arsene Wenger might take this opportunity to also get some money from the sale before he becomes a free agent in the summer.
Pep Guardiola, on the other hand, insisted that Sterling is absolutely not for sale although Arsenal specifically asked for him.
Although it is still early to know whether Arsenal and City are really in talks over a possible swap, one thing is certain and that is Sanchez is moving out of his club this January.
