Manchester City were prepared to sign Alexis Sanchez during the summer transfer window but their £60 million bid didn’t make the last day.
Sanchez wants to work with Pep Guardiola and he may just have to hold a bit more until he becomes a free agent.
City are also just waiting for the Chilean international. However, a growing interest from abroad could force Pep Guardiola to make a move for the 28-year-old in January.
City may have to compete with PSG for Sanchez in January as they have been known to be also interested in the player.
But Sanchez future in January will still be up to Arsenal’s willingness to sell before he becomes a free agent.
When January comes though, Arsenal should also expect that the £60 million bid they got from their star player will be much lower.
