Jose Mourinho wants to have a reunion with Chelsea star Eden Hazard and is planning a British record of £90 million to sign him in January.
The Manchester United boss is confident that he can convince Hazard to move to his side and beating Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain for his signature.
Hazard has already turned down a £300,000-a-week four-year contract at Stamford Bridge as he wants to weigh his options.
Hazard was part of Mourinho’s Chelsea team when they won the 2014-15 title, but it is also known that they had a strained relationship before the manager was axed at the club.
United have also held the British record for paying Paul Pogba for £89 million in 2016. They followed this with £75 million when they moved Romelu Lukaku during the summer.
Manchester United might do this again after they convince Hazard to sign with them for £90 million.
