Real Madrid are ready to offload Gareth Bale as they are losing patience with the injury-hit star and Manchester United are ready to accept him.
United will try to make a third attempt to sign the player as he will be available next summer.
Bale missed 40 of Real’s last 60 games because of injury but United have still shown interest in the player and do not care about the amount of time he spent recovering from his injury.
United are still hoping to land the 28-year-old star after his five-year stay at the Bernabeu.
United missed out on Bale when he joined Real from Tottenham for a then world record fee of £85 million in 2013.
Real Madrid had the opportunity to get Bale back because of their buy-back option, but he is currently couldn’t play for them because of a calf problem and is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the year.
Real are believed to be running out of patience with the player and are ready to sell.
Mourinho is still interested in signing Bale and revealed that he would be “fighting with the other coaches who would like to have him on their team” if he becomes available.
