Manchester United do not want to lose their star goalkeeper David De Gea to his long-term suitor Real Madrid, and with that, they will push their star player with another contract that will end in 2019.
Real Madrid could possibly steal De Gea if United cannot provide him with a good offer to make him stay longer.
Reports are indicating that United will start a new deal with De Gea in the coming weeks. United are also confident that the goalkeeper won’t be going anywhere and that he would agree to the new terms that they would be giving him to stop Real Madrid in January.
Real Madrid have been trying to sign De Gea over the past few years and they almost signed him a couple of years ago but because of some late paperwork, the deal fell through.
Now, United are insistent that they will not sell the player and will make sure that De Gea will stay with them longer.
