Marouane Fellaini’s future at Manchester United remains in doubt as his contract with the club is due to expire after his six months.
The Belgian international has still not signed a new deal and will be free to transfer to a foreign club as early as January.
Galatasaray and Besiktas are both linked to Fellaini in recent weeks.
The centre midfielder has been a crucial player this season but his injuries have kept him from playing for over a month now and may not play against United on Sunday.
If Jose Mourinho cannot convince Fellaini to sign a new contract, he will need to find a replacement for next season.
Mourinho has been finding possible replacements for players who will be moving on and it looks like Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is one of them.
Italian outlet il Messaggero reported that scouts were impressed by his performances and that Mourinho is a massive fan of the 22-year-old.
However, Mourinho may back down as Lazio placed a £88 million on the young centre midfielder.
