Tottenham Hotspurs will miss one important player on Saturday as Mousa Dembele will not be able to join them against Huddersfield Town after suffering an ankle injury.
The Belgian international suffered an injury earlier this month after their 1-0 win against Barnsley.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed during his pre-Huddersfield press conference that he is not certain how long Dembele will need to rest.
“It’s sure for Saturday it’s impossible for him to play,” said the Spurs boss. “I haven’t seen him today [Thursday] because he’s not here. We hope it won’t be a big problem but I think he needs time to recover.”
When asked how long he could be out for, Pochettino said that he also uncertain as they need to get more information regarding his condition.
“I don’t know. We need more information, to speak with the doctor and then see what happens in the next few weeks.”
