After a good victory against Chelsea last weekend, Crystal Palace will have a lot of confidence to face their next opponent Newcastle United.
United defender DeAndre Yedlin acknowledges the risk with playing against Palace this weekend and that he knows Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend will be their top opponent.
Zaha scored the winning goal against Chelsea while Yedlin knows Townsend’s capabilities as also played at St James’ Park.
“They will be players we’ll have to try and calm down on the day, but I am sure if we can defend like we have and break on the counter,” Yedlin said during his interview with Newcastle’s TV channel.
“They are a team a team underestimated. The win against Chelsea is going to give them a lot of confidence and they’re going to come and want three points against us as well.
“It’s our job to defend our home and get three points against them.
“The thing we want to do is focus on ourselves and what we’re going to do in the game.
“I am sure the gaffer is going to have a gameplan for us, and they have been excellent so far.
“So we’re going to go out and try to execute exactly what he says and hopefully come out with a good result.”
