Sergio Aguero is now part of Manchester City history as he netted his 177th goal for the club in their Saturday Premier League clash against Burnley.
The 29-year-old who broke a rib in a car crash three weeks ago also struck a penalty in the 30th minute.
The Argentina forward is now in level with the longstanding tally of Eric Brook who also scored 177 goals for City between 1927 and 1939.
Aguero joined City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and his record goal came in his 262nd appearance for the club.
He could have broken his record last month of only he was not sidelined because of the road accident he got involved in while traveling in Amsterdam.
