Everton

The Everton F.C is a football club originating from Liverpool, England. The club participated in the Premier League and joined the top division for 114 successive seasons and eventually won nine times in the League Championship and five times in the FA Cup. The club was formed in the year 1878, the Everton FC is also considered one founding members of The Football League in the year 1888 and won their first League Championship after two seasons.

After two FA Cup titles and four wins in the League Championship, Everton experienced a hush in the games in the immediate post World War Two period. In 1960 the games were revived and Everton won two League of Champions and one FA Cup. The team showed their recent period of attained success in the years of 1980’s with two League of Champions, an FA Cup, and the winners for the 1985 European Cup Winner’s Cup. The club earned their recent major trophy in 1995 from the FA Cup.

“Evertonians” is the name of club’s supporter’s and fans. Everton have a rivalry with neighbours Liverpool, and the two sides contest the Merseyside Derby. Since 1892, the club has been located at Goodison Park in Walton, Liverpool right after moving from Anfield following a row over its rent. The club has a combination of royal blue shirts with white shorts and socks for their home colours.
