Manchester City

Founded in 1880, Manchester City Football Club is based in Manchester England. In 1880 the club was named as St. Mark’s afterward in 1887 it was named Ardwick Association Football Club, then finally in 1894 it was named Manchester City. In 2003, the club moved to City of Manchester.

Manchester City’s most noticeable achievements were in the year 1960’s to early 1070’s. In this years the team won the FA Cup, League Cup, League Championship, European Cup Winner’s Cup under Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison as team managers. Having lost in the FA Cup Final in 1981, the team have undergone a period of decline. The team experienced relegation to the third tier for the first time in their history in the English Football in 1998. However, they managed to regain their Premier League Status in early 2000. In 2008, the club was bought by the Abu Dhabi United Group. The club has won six major honours in the year 2011.

In 2014-15 Manchester City became the sixth football to have the highest income in the football business earning a total amount of €463.5 million. As of 2016, the elite Forbes magazine stated that Manchester City football club placed sixth most valuable football club in the whole world with an average amount of $1.92 billion.
