Everton midfielder Tom Davies just wants to get back Ronald Koeman’s first-team plans and is insistent that he will prove himself again to the club.

Davies became a regular fixture with the club last season and had been featured 24 times, but because of the new players now with Everton, he has now left to battle with the rest of players to get regular playing time at Goodison Park.

“After Christmas, last season was good for me,” Davies said. “But this year… there will be ups and downs. You just need to be ready for them. I think it is going to be a lot harder than it was last season, especially with the signings we have made. People expect it from you now.
