Tottenham Hotspurs have been interested in signing Fulham striker Ryan Sessegnon and they have closely kept watch of his progress. Now, they have a chance to get but Fulham want £50 million for the young player.
The 17-year-old left back chose to sign a new deal at Craven Cottage which would allow him to play at Championship level. This also protected the club from selling him cheap.
While Spurs know that they may need to cash higher for the wonderkid whom they said is similar to their former star Gareth Bale, the club still wants him and are interested in signing him in January.
Fulham know about the comparison Spurs made with Bale and they are taking advantage of the situation which made them gave a £50 million valuation.
Manchester United have also shown interest on the teenage prodigy, but Sessegnon has shown his preferred destination to be Tottenham.
