Mauricio Pochettino claims that he has selected the “best team” for Tottenham’s clash with West Brom and that does not include Danny Rose.
The 27-year-old admitted that he was disappointed over Pochettino’s decision as he was also left out in their game against Arsenal last weekend.
The defender, however, played a full 90 minutes against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League where they enjoyed a 2-1 victory.
Rose has been left out once again as they play West Brom with Ben Davies taking his place on the left flank.
“I think we always try to put the best player for every game,” Pochettino said.
“If you see in the past, always we try to put the best player for different games.
“I think that we believe that this is the best team, the best starting XI to try to win today.”
