Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger announced he is now ready to welcome bids for Jack Wilshere. Unfortunately, the boss could no longer guarantee the game time that the midfielder deserves.
Wilshere has just returned to the field from recovering his injury. He was sent off for the squad’s Under-23s in a match against Manchester City on Monday.
However, the French boss shared he already had sincere talks with his player. He is now willing to listen to offers for his midfielder.
Wenger said: “I’m open with Jack.
“We have honest conversations. I’m open to what is the best for him. He is at the stage of his career where he needs to play and I can’t guarantee him that today.
“I think I’m quite open on that.
“If he gets back to his best and he wants to stay, we have to sit down, I think, later in the season,” he said.
“I don’t rule that out.”
