West Ham may be ready to let go Reece Oxford in January even though the youngster is quite promising.
The 18-year-old is currently on loan with Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany. He has not been seen this season after joining the Bundesliga side on a two-year loan in the summer.
Now new reports have surfaced that Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in transferring the youngster and West Ham could also be interested in selling.
Oxford who received a Golden Boy nomination but got upset with Slaven Bilic after reprimanding the youngster not to think that he was on the same level as Kylian Mbappe.
“Someone recognised him to be nominated for the Golden Boy award,” Bilic said.
“If he goes one way and thinks he is Mbappe then that’s wrong. He needs to use this in the right way. He has got it in him, get his place [at Monchengladbach] and start playing regularly. Hopefully, he will get that in Germany and it’ll be great for him to play in the Bundesliga.
“He needed to go somewhere to play more regularly, he is at a good club but unfortunately he is still waiting.
“He is very positive and I expect him to get in their starting line up soon and come back to West Ham, banging on my door and be a regular player for us.”
We will just have to wait and see if Oxford transfers to either Arsenal or United this January.
