West Ham United are lining up to make a deal for West Brom defender Jonny Evans.
Manchester City are also known to be interested in signing Evans but Baggies have kept it well to keep a hold of him in the summer as clubs were bidding in the region of £25 million.
New Hammers boss David Moyes has already shown interest and would want Evans on their team to stop their leaky defence.
Whether Evans would move away from West Brom remains to be seen in January since he would prefer to return further north if he would leave the Hawthorns.
Albion boss Alan Pardew may have a hard time holding back bidders for Evans especially if some of them start bidding at £30 million.
