West Ham may have to compete against Galatasaray in their pursuit of Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah.
The Hammers are targeting the versatile Asamoah but it seems that Galatasaray have also taken notice of the 28-year-old.
Asamoah will be able to discuss a possible move during the January transfer window and will be able to sign a pre-contract agreement ahead of the summer transfer window.
The midfielder will be out of contract with the Serie A champions at the end of the season.
West Ham have been reported to be interested in moving Asamoah from the Serie A, but Galatasaray have long-term admirers of the player which could bring difficulties for the Hammers.
Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek confirmed that they will place a new bid for the Ghanaian in January.
“In the end Juventus didn’t want to let him go,” Ozbek said.
“We already had an agreement with Asamoah, and we’ll repeat our offer during the winter transfer window.
