William Carvalho would be a good fit at West Ham

West Ham are in big trouble after sliding down into the relegation zone after being hammered by Liverpool with a 4-1 defeat. Their manager Slaven Bilic also got sacked in the process.

The defeat of the Reds cost the team greatly as they are now under pressure to stay away from the relegation zone.

The East London club are in need of reinforcements not just with the coaching staff but with a defensive midfielder to bring balance to the team.

William Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon could be just the right man to help West Ham in the right position.

The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has been a regular part of Sporting’s first team and has brought solidity to the midfield.

While the Hammers have Chelkhou Kouyate as their defensive midfield option, adding Carvalho to the team can strengthen their midfield.

There are also reports that Carvalho is desperate to leave Sporting in January after nearly signing with them in the summer.

Everton FC were also reported to be interested in signing the midfielder and almost pursued him during the summer but had dropped their interest.

Slaven Bilic’s departure has been a huge setback for the club although they have already announced David Moyes as the new replacement.

However, there is more to succeeding than just the coach since the Hammers need some top class players if they want to compete with the big names in the Premier League.

The only way for the Hammers to make a good comeback is to strengthen their side with talented players such William Carvalho as there is more to this young player if he is given more chances.
